Refund Policy

This Refund Policy outlines the guidelines and procedures for refunds and cancellations for services provided by GenerateClips. We strive to ensure customer satisfaction while maintaining fair and clear policies.

2. Subscription Plans

2.1 Cancellations

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings. Once cancelled, your subscription will remain active until the end of your current billing period. You will not be charged for the following billing period.

2.2 Refunds for Subscription Plans

For monthly subscription plans:

  • If you cancel within the first 7 days of your initial subscription (trial period), you are eligible for a full refund upon request.
  • After the first 7 days, we do not provide prorated refunds for the remainder of the billing period after cancellation.

For annual subscription plans:

  • If you cancel within the first 14 days of your initial subscription, you are eligible for a full refund upon request.
  • After the first 14 days, refunds may be provided on a prorated basis at our discretion, depending on the circumstances.

3. One-Time Purchases

For one-time purchases (if applicable):

  • If you have not downloaded or used the purchased item, you are eligible for a full refund within 14 days of purchase.
  • If you have downloaded or used the purchased item, refund eligibility will be determined on a case-by-case basis.

4. Requesting a Refund

To request a refund, please contact our support team at billing@generateclips.com with the following information:

  • Your account email address
  • Date of purchase
  • Reason for requesting a refund
  • Order or transaction ID (if available)

We will process your refund request within 5-7 business days of receiving all necessary information.

5. Refund Processing

Approved refunds will be processed back to the original payment method used for the purchase. The time it takes for the refund to appear in your account depends on your payment provider and may take 5-10 business days.

6. Exceptions

We reserve the right to deny refund requests in certain circumstances, including but not limited to:

  • Requests made outside the specified refund periods
  • Evidence of fraud or abuse
  • Violation of our Terms of Service
  • Extensive use of the service before requesting a refund

7. Changes to This Policy

We reserve the right to modify this Refund Policy at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting on our website. Your continued use of our services after any changes indicates your acceptance of the updated policy.
